"Internationalization of Higher Education: Trends, Strategies and Scenarios for the Future"

The National Training Foundation (NTF) invites representatives from higher education institutions, national ministries of education, research institutions and other stakeholders in Russia, Europe and beyond to its annual conference on internationalization in higher education.
The aim of the conference is to debate the challenges national education systems face in the context of globalization and internationalization.
The conference will seek to discuss the following themes:
internationalization of higher education in the context of globalization: trends and forecasts;
national strategies, policies and approaches to internationalization of higher education; the role of new actors in the global international educational landscape;
best practices in governing the process of internationalization at different levels: international, national and institutional;
possible scenarios for promoting internationalization in higher education in Russia.
The speakers and discussants of the conference will include representatives of Ministry of Education and Science of Russian Federation, Federal Institution of Educational Development, National Training Foundation, Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, Agencies for Internationalization of Education, Russian and foreign universities.

Language: Russian, English (simultaneous interpretation will be provided)
Costs (for 1 person): 120 Euro with registration before the 10th of March, 190 Euro with of registration since the 11th of March till the 16th of April 2010.
