Congolese students to study in Russia
On October 15th in the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Brazzaville a meeting with Congolese students who have been admitted for study in Russian institutions of university level higher education on account of a quota of the federal budget or have signed private contracts with Russian higher education institutions, took place. Such meetings became customary both for officer of RCSC, and for the Congolese leaving for study to Russia.
Having congratulated the students with admission in Russian institutions of university level higher education, the director of RCSC V.O.Chechin told them about security measures, accepted all over the world which they should follow in Russian metropolises, about the climate of Russia, about features of its multinational civilization and about the main stereotypes of behavior accepted in Russian society. By tradition future students of Russian higher education institutions come to such meetings with their parents or close relatives who ask the numerous questions, concerning studies, organizations of a way of life and rules of living in Russian cities, and possibility for their children to go abroad during vacation time. Congolese citizens receive detailed and reasoned answers from administration of RCSC. Consultations for Congolese citizens going for study, which are held in RCSC in Brazzaville, are highly appreciated by the Consular department of the embassy of Russia in Congo.
The meeting of questions and answers, which took place on October 15th, became the third such meeting held during this year. RCSC plans to hold three more such meetings and, thus, to have talks with more than 70 Congolese grant-holders leaving for study in Russian higher education institutions in this year.
