Kazan Technology University among finalists of national research universities contest
Kazan State Technology University has been included in 32 finalists of the 2nd all-Russian contest for a higher educational institution curriculum claiming the category "national research university".
According to results of an independent examination of 128 universities' development programs, 32 finalists have been determined.
The selection procedure is based on analysis of the current situation and dynamics of the university development last 3 years. The following criteria is taken into consideration: staff potential, infrastructure of educational process and scientific research, effectiveness of educational and research work, evidence of international and national recognition, quality, validity and expected results of the presented development programs.
A secret ballot following detailed discussion will determine winners out of the 32 applications at the 3rd session of the contest commission, the Russian Ministry of Education and Science press-service informs.
