Teachers from Kyrgyzstan Receive Russian Language Teaching Training in Altai

Teachers from Kyrgyzstan will undergo Russian Language and Modern Educational Technologies training in Barnaul city (Russia), official website of the Altai Krai of the Russian Federation informs. The program of individual training has been developed by the experienced pedagogues of the Altai State University, taking into account features of the Russian language teaching abroad and requests of the teachers, 24.kg reports.

Krai Department for International and Inter-regional Relations informed that the training is held since 2010 as a part of implementation of the departmental task program Maintaining and Development of Relations with Fellow Countrymen Abroad.

According to Altai officials, number of participants is constantly growing. And teachers from Jalal-Abad, Mailuu-Suu, Tash-Kumyr cities will undergo the upcoming training. The Russian Language and Modern Educational Technologies program includes model lessons, trainings and round table discussions. Guests will get acquainted with sights of the city, visit museums and exhibition halls of the krai capital.

"Aim of the training is maintenance and strengthening of the Russian language in countries of fellow countrymen's residence, extension of the Russian language space abroad," the department explains.
