St. Petersburg International Students Model EU training role game conference
The 7th International Students Model EU training role game conference will be held from 5th to 9th April, 2013 at the School of International Relations of the St. Petersburg State University. More than 200 Russian and foreign students will participate in it.
The St. Petersburg International Students Model EU training role game conference is being conducted since 2006 at the School of International Relations and the conference is the largest and leading in Russia. This is a political conference that simulates the activities of one of the most powerful and large organizations of the modern world, the European Union.
The conference combines educational training on the negotiation tactics with public speaking, workshops on the decision making mechanisms. It also combines opportunities for political action based on cultural values and traditions with an interesting role-playing game.
In the frameworks of the St. Petersburg International Student Model EU the following European institutions will be represented:
- The European Parliament
- The European Commission
- The Council of Ministers
- the European media representatives
- Observers from several countries
Since 2013 the main working language of the conference is English. The language school English First is the official partner of the event.
