St. Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design

St. Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design was established in 1876. Now it is one of the most well-known educational organizations of this kind in Russia.

Students can obtain higher education in monumental and decorative arts, design, art history, and restoration.

The Academy is located in the historical part of St. Petersburg, the second largest city of the Russian Federation, and its main cultural centre.

St. Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design has strong relations with many institutions of higher education around the world (Germany, France, Finland, China etc.). Students from many countries (including such as China, Latvia, Lithuania, Syria, Israel, Côte d'Ivoire, etc.) have chosen to study art and design at the Academy.

Today our graduates work successfully at industrial enterprises, in project and scientific and research institutions, construction bureaus, art schools, and creative organizations. Currently in the Academy there are around 1400 students and 500 staff members .
